upgrading ram

i have a gig of ram and im wanting to upgrade on a budget. how much difference will i see going from a gig to a gig and a half?

if u want more ram then I'd suggest saving up and getting another 1gb stick. That way u will have 2gb and u can probably run them in dual channel.
But 1gb would be enough for now, though I can say that the performance with 2gb is sweet!
