Single Core and Dual Core? Im building this new system for gaming not much of anything else. If I wont see a difference in gaming then I mind as well save the 50$ and get the single core.

Dual core doesnt just mean you have to be multitasking..It will make differences in games, not huge ones, but it will..And for 50, might as well, no point staying single core, thats considered old now ( I have one, so im not bustin on u)..

Yea, I was thinkin Dual Core, Itll last me longer and wont get outdated to fast, just out of curiosity what kinda games are you able to play on your setup?

Not a gamer at all, I only use it for music, aim, surf the web..The last game I remember playing was halo..It doesnt really go on the cpu, more of ram and video card..But u can have a celron and a 7950nvideo card aha...Go dual core, and then get like a 7800, and u can play every game u want.

It's wise to get dual core, you may not think you're multitasking, but windows runs SOO much background crap.
