Vista RC1-monitor keeps flickering???

i'm on RC1 right now, and my monitor keeps flickering. mainly when something changes, or i open a program...i dont even know. It flickers...goes black for a second and comes back. it's like when you change your screen resolution...how the monitor flickers. but the resolution stays the same.

i'm at 1280x1024 at 60hz, i have aero enabled.....

can anyone diagnose the problem? this is getting annoying.

try increasing the refresh rate. 60hz is just way too small.

well, i have a gateway ev910 19" CRT, it's pretty old...

sounds about right, i would kick it up to 75hz, and see if that works

Raise the refresh rate, if that doesn't work try disabling Aero.
