Help!!

and once again i am unable to post a thread...so here is mine.

I tried putting my songs from limewire to itunes. well it did but when trying to put them on the ipod an exclamation point is to the left of the song and it wont upload to the ipod. i recently updated my itunes so i dont no if i have to reinstall the ipod disc again. anyways, i do have songs already from limewire to my ipod so i no its possible. It also says it can not convert all the songs. this doesnt happen to any of my friends so im kinda lost. any ideas?

Sounds like to me that either some of the songs are copyrighted and that's why it won't let you convert it. some songs you get from P2P sites are sometimes copyrighted wich can be changed by rightclicking the file and unchecking the copyright, i think.

i would use Windown media player to convert them to .wma first, but first check in the media player's prefrences, and un-check the box for the copyright. that way when media player converts it, it won't leave the copyright in it.
