account question

I installed the .NET framework thing for Xp so i could run a program today and I noticed that there's an account called "ASP.NET Machine A" and I was wondering if I needed it or not and if it's safe to delete. I know it's not malware but I was wondering what the purpose of it is....

Unless you really don't use the ASP.Net features, you can delete it.
