Get the E6400, the E6600 is still expensive and I highly doubt you'll be needing 4MB of cache. Everything else seems fine though. I just though I'd let you know that.

The reason why I gave him the E6600 was because the bang for the buck is amazing. The CPU owns a FX-62.

That's why I wanted to actually give him that.

yeah.. i was going to say.. you should get a an e6400, it's an overclocking whore and can easily get e6600 speeds.

some people say the e6600s are left overs of 6700s and 6800s that couldn't clock as high. also the 4mb cache makes it harder to o/c.

E6400 is the way to go with this one. Coupled with a P5B/DLX, it will fly. And the DDR800 RAM is good. Make this a benching rig! But get these instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231064R
If you don't mind open box. But G.SKills are nice. You can't go wrong with them.
