Hey guys.
I need a new graphics card - mine sucks hehe. It's a Radeon X550.
These are my PC specs from Belarc:
Processor:
3.60 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
16 kilobyte primary memory cache
2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Main Circuit Board:
Board: FUJITSU SIEMENS P5SD1-FM2 Rev 1.xx
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 0304 01/03/2006
Memory Modules:
1024 Megabytes Installed Memory
Slot 'DIMM0' has 512 MB (serial number SerNum0)
Slot 'DIMM1' has 512 MB
Display:
RADEON X550 [Display adapter]
RADEON X550 Secondary [Display adapter]
Samsung SyncMaster [Monitor] (19.1"vis, s/n H9NYC39205, December 2005)
Bus Adapters:
SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller (3x)
SiS PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller
I use my video card mainly for gaming and DVD watching. On both the picture comes out somewhat pixelated and bad quality, even with the settings in the software set to the highest. I'm assuming that means as it's a low-budget video card it's not powerful enough to run these things, and display it through my quite large 19" monitor.
On a budget of around £120 (about £$200) and not much more, could you suggest me a good video card??
Many thanks in advance for all help/advice.
