Compatible Components, your opion

onboard sound will run games sound just fine. although if you are getting a AMD prosessor i would suggest getting an NVidia video card, they tend to be more compatible with AMD than ATi get yourself 1 gig of crucial memory also.

I think it is nvidia or atleast shares the same technology (via ASUS)

Asus Nvidia 7300GS 256MB PCI-E

Overall will this be able to run CounterStrike:Source

I have got a good processor Amd 3200+
512mb ram
Gfx card support Direct X 9.0 Application programming interface (API)
the mobo should support the components fine, also giving sound

Am I right in saying this since cs:s requires

Recommended: 2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Just wont to be safe than sorry. Thanks

I will probaly buy another stick of RAM

yea that video card should be fine with your setup. only thing is i still recommend that you buy crutial memory instead of the offbrand you picked.

kingston isn't offbrand, but crutial has the best compatability with AMD. check kingsons website if you don't want to switch and see if they have your motherboard on their compatability list.

Cheerz thanks for all your help guys

:D

Just might need to buy more cables. Not sure about PSU though.....what happens if it isn't powerful enough?

Will the shipping be on size or weight?

OK, if you want to play BF2, the 7300GS will not deliver what you need. A 6600GT is comparable to a 7300GS...or is it 7600?

Next, I would recommend to buy a 7600GS if you play that game. If not, then you can get a 7300GT.

For the PSU, get something higher. Aim for 500W.

Your motherboard will come with the cables to connect your hardrive and CD drive. it should be powerful enough for you. you said it was 350 right?
