Artifacts

I just picked up a new X1900XT, and i've had it for a couple of weeks, and i just noticed im getting artifacts. I haven't overclocked it yet, and there is no dust anywhere inside the card. It idles at 42 Celsius, and I think around 77 load. Could the card be faulty?

Edit: I have Catalyst 6.8 drivers

It could be. Have you made sure it's fully seated and the power connector is firmly installed? Which drivers are you using? You could try older or newer versions.

Im using 6.8 drivers right now, i'll re-seat it in a second, if that doesn't work, I will try older drivers.

Edit: Re-seated the card and power plug and had no affect, I will try older drivers.

Edit 2: Driver 6.14 seemed to do the trick, if I see artifacts again, i'll contact ATI and see what they can do about it.
