TOTAL: £169(?)

Is this computer good? Will this pc work for games like HL2, CS:S. I'm a bit concerned of the RAM's speed. I'll probaly put another stick of RAM in to make it upto a 1gb. But is this pc overall quite good? Wot improvments would you suggest?

- it's not for me (ive got better :D). It's for my brother, for his games, browsing and other stuff.

Cheerz!

Yes it should work I believe,

on the side note I got a MOBO, and CPU laying around (amd 3200) epox mobo (standard ATX pci slot) that i'll give to you for 55 plus 5 or 10 for shipping.

You live in Germany though - if he lives in the UK, postage would be expensive. Nice offer though.

Check whether that motherboard has a PCI-E slot or an AGP one; if its PCI-E, its all compatible.

Yep, PCI-E. So this will work then? Do you know what cables ill need? Is it just for the hard drive and cd drive? Does the PSU (in the case) come supplied for powering the devices?

Thankyou

Yeah, everything's compatible I believe. The only thing that I would suggest is getting a better power supply. 350W may do for your setup though, so you might want to get opinions from others first before doing so. I'm not very good as far as PSUs go, but I know 350W is very minimal.

well I would suggest getting faster ram. That website just sucks (atleast I think so) so I can't find the max ram speed, but I highly doubt it's anything less than ddr400.

If u buy the mobo in a retail package (I'm pretty sure the one in ur link is retail) it will come with the most common cables. (for the hdd etc) U shouldn't need to buy any extra cables, but if u do they won't cost much and it's easy to get them from a local pc store.

is that graphics card gona be fine for hl2 and bf2?
What cables do i need for it. Standard IDE? Would you say it's worth £170? Is the onboard sound going to be okay for listening to music, or should i purchase a sound card... is it surround. According to mobo it is: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...9kdWN0X3NwZWNpZmljYXRpb25z&product_uid=112239. OR is it just the beep sound box? Will the heat sink come with the CPU. I have one 80mm fan, is that enough.
Thx
P.S
I pretty sure this memory will fit:
MEMORY - Ebuyer 512mb DDR PC3200 400MHz 184pin Extra Value Ram
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/49447

or woudl this be better

right now the highest ram speed you can get is 800 MHz, but it is ddr2, means you would have to get a different mobo and pay more than you want to by the looks of your selections.
