You know...I kinda hate getting new stuff. You get a new car and you have to figure everything out and get used to it...you get a new phone and you have to put all your numbers in it and get it all the way you want it...even when you get something as simple as a new pair of shoes and you have to break them in! I find it to be a pain in the ass...but NOTHING is as big of a pain in the ass as getting a new computer. Gotta get it all dialed in and setup the way you want it, etc...what a hassle (but you gotta stay somewhat up to date...so oh well...). What I REALLY hate about new computers though is all the crap that comes pre-loaded on it when you get it! I just got a new HP Pavilion Slimline recently and there are SIXTY ONE PROCESSES at start up!
K...here's my question...what is all this crap, what do I need to keep, what can I get rid of and how can I get rid of what I don't need? I know all this crap has to suck up some memory and I don't even know what the hell most of it is. I know I need explorer and a few others but most of it just looks like junk. I'd just like to clean this thing up so it'll run a little better. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
