Hijackish

Hi,
I downloaded Warez 3 and it seems to have hijacked the home page, nothing too weird, just annoying I can still access Google etc it's just what used to be a regular Google page now looks like an advert for Warez, I've checked the obvious, Internet options, and it says the home page is http://www.google.co.uk/ but when I fire up my Firefox browser I get http://google.warez.com/ bye the bye Internet explorer is unaffected.

isnt that the program for downloading illegal files? well we cant help with that. but it sounds like you have spyware/adware.

yep most likely some adware and probably some spyware too.
Download Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware, update them both and then run full system scans.

sounds like your LMHOSTS file may have gotten hijacked...check it out...then follow mammikoura's advice...
