Usually residental internet agreements forbid you to run webservers.

residential ISP's will randomly scan for servers, and will possibly shut down your ports. However, I have been running my webserver from home for 2 years with no issue.

well i called my ISP and the dude said if it has low traffic then he said you can have one.

I tried it once as an experiement but ran into trouble with the isp. Bandwidth was never fast enough either and a dynamic ip is hopeless
