I like both personally but I'm starting to grow towards Mac more since you can run Windows and Mac OS X on a Mac.
Here's what I like about mac:
1. FAR less (close to none) viruses than windows
2. They can run Mac OS X and Windows
3. The UI on OS X is very neat looking and Mac OS is pretty powerful
4. Apple has good warranties
5. Mac OS is very stable
Here's what I don't like:
1. Not all programs will work on a mac
2. Not as easy to upgrade as a PC
3. Some websites don't always display correctly in safari (a friend of mine who has a mac mini told me this and i'm not 100% sure if it's true or not)
4. Macs are still a bit more expensive than a PC
5. You can't build your own mac like you can a PC
I like Mac, but like anything else it has its flaws. Mac has gotten better over the past year or so as far as their computers go and I'm seriously considering getting a mac mini sometime in the not too distant future.
