Hello I noticed something when I got my new ASUS motherboard and my 3500+ amd, I got these 2 cables called SATA cables, I got these 2 slots next to each other, but I haven't used this feature yet? How do I do it, the booklet wasn't really specific on what I needed to do so I left it in the box, it has slots like this

__- -__ I think it's something like that lmao.

You need a sata hardrive..Sata harddrives are faster then ide, so they use a different cable..

They are specifically made for SATA hard drives, don't worry about them unless you get or have a SATA hard drive.

SATA is a faster interface for harddrives.

SATA, also known as Serial ATA is a connection for SATA Hard drives and CD/DVD drives. It's best to use them if don't have an IDE Hard drive as they are better.
