You should consider the Asus P5WDH in your list of choices. Here's a screenshot of one in use from a guy on another forum I visit, I realise the cpu is a 6700, but it will give you some idea of the boards overclocking abilities.

You'll have to search for prices locally, I have little idea of American retailers or pricing.

As a point of interest, check out his SuperPi time   12.766s :D

no, none out at the moment. For E6400 and lower, i would go with a P5B Deluxe, E6600 or higher, 975x is the way to go.

ok. thanks.

what's good ram for Core2 Duo? Does it matter?. Im thinking 1Gb (512*2)

How about 2x1GB? Corsair 6400C4 are nice. So are Team Group PC5300 3-3-3-8. Any PC-8500. And Cas 4 PC-1000 are good.

I was thinking 1GB since this is actually gonna be a secondary rig/Server.

Got a pretty small budget for mb, cpu, gpu, ram, psu, case.
So 1GB should be plenty I think. Right now, it only has 512mb and it works pretty well.

I am probabley gonna go with the motherboard you suggest since it has the built in wifi and my home is wireless networked. :D Nice feature to have.

Anyone wonna suggest 1GB ram set and A case for under $130? Thanks
