Mouse & keyboard not sending signal?

Im gunna take a stab in the dark here;

Do you remember what button you press to get into the BIOS setup?

If you do, (should also be in your motherboard manual, which if you dont have you could look up your motherboard model online and find a manual, as you obviously have access to another computer), rapidly press that at bootup. Continue pecking the key for about 30 seconds to see if the BIOS setup page.

I think that perhaps when you tried to install your upgrades the removal of the motherboard, VPU, could have cause an unexpected bug. Perhaps switching the setting in your BIOS automatically to on board video, which is conflicting with your video card. If you can get into the bios and it shows up on your monitor, check this first. If you can get into your BIOS and the VPU is enabled, then we can work from their to identify the problem.

I'll have to check the bios button tomorrow, but I just noticed two beeps that aren't normally there when booting up. Two short beeps at the beginning of the start up. Any idea what those might be coming from?
