The Intel Core 2 Duo is looking more and more like the CPU to get. Plus its a hell of alot cheaper than the high end AMD CPU's.

I forgot to add one more thing to that list..

Sunbeam Rhobeus (sp?) Fan Controller ($16)
- Those fans are powerful and dont need to be run at full speed (too much noise).

They're going to release driver updates so the older cards are compatible with the newer DX10.

Im gonna make a list of all the devices you will need. Fill them in as you figure them out. I chose the same vid card, I put a different power supply... the power is 20 watts fewer, but its 60 bucks cheaper.

If Perfect is right, you dont need to go with only a 7600 vid card.
