long resolution changes

most monitors [i think] can change resolution almost instantly. mine tasks about 2 seconds. is there a way i can make this faster?

Nope. Mine takes a couple of seconds too. That's a normal responce time.

As does mine, a 19" Samsung LCD screen.

Thats normal man....don't worry about it.

i have an acer 19 inch lcd, and when i change the resolution, the screen will go black for about a second, then it will turn off for about a half a second, and then turn on and go black for about another second, and then everything will reappear with the new resoltuion. its normal i guess.
