what is the difference between photoshop elements and just regular photoshop?

Elements is more geared towards primarily photography

regular PS as in CS or CS2 is MUCH BETTER! Has many more features and as MarxSoccer said elements is geared more towards photography.

Yeah, elements is just the toned down version of photoshop, made for people who dont want to spend the 600 bucks on the full version

yeah, elements is a little more user-friendly, not much... just doesn't include all the premium features that CS and CS 2 does.

Yeah, I dont know why they were added, it wouldve been better to start it off nice and clean..
