Dell Confirms AMD Notebooks

It has been confirmed that AMD-based notebooks by Dell will be out by this year's end. Of course, this move is mainly to stay competitive and have more selection.

Personally I could care less...I never liked Turion anyways. For notebooks, it's Core Duo or bust. Heh, actually, once the Merom core comes out, it'll be Core 2 Duo or bust.

I think they used Opterons for their servers as well as Xeons. Now it's notebooks.

i don't like the turion eather. core duo and M are better processors for laptops.... but oh well, as long as they keep the intel processors as well i'll b happy

How is that? The Turion isn't just for gamers. The Core Duo is just as capable for gaming.

Keep in mind that the Inspiron XPS notebooks all use Core Duo processors.
