After invesitaging the neg reps being left around it appears to me that when a user has less than the minimum amount of posts, the system allows them to leave a comment but the reps weighting is 0 therefore does not affect the overall score.

If you have been left neg rep by a spammer or someone messing around, check how many posts they have.

If they have not got >=50 posts AND they are on a distinguished road, rest assured. The comment has not affected your score.

Remember they cant check who did it?

Anyways, basicly if it is gray, dont worry about it. Red is neg, and green is positive. Gray is from the guys that dont have the min amount.

Out of curoisity(sp), if a new member leaves negative, would that be grey?

I think it would be. Atleast the positive ones are so it must be the same with the negative ones.
