Hey guys, i'm attempting to set up a home network so i can share files and the printer, however my desktop is getting an error that is keeping me from finishing the network.
The error says...

"Due to an unidentified problem windows cannot display windows firewall settings"

If anyone has any help on how to get rid of this or bypass please let me know.

Thanks,
hockeyrino

To fix this problem, two dlls need to be re-registered:

First: Click Start -> Run, Then type

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll
and hit OK

Second:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\hnetcfg.dll
and Hit OK

This should allow for the viewing and configuration of the XP firewall settings.

Or, you could just switch the firewall off and use Zonealarm.
