Im asking because its a 40 dollar difference (I never count on mail-in rebates.) Cause by the specs they seem the same, exept for the company.

Well I have a linksys router personally, I had some problems and was able to talk to a support rep online on live chat and they were very helpful.
Highly suggest getting the Linksys combo. Person I know has been through 4 d-links routers in the past year.
Linksys = Trouble Free
D-Link = Hell
