Error 1933...Desperate!!

This is usually the error msg for something else but this pops up when installing my ipod. it states "Error 1933: This setup requires Internet Information Server 4.0 or higher for configuring IIS Virtual Roots. Please make sure that you have IIS 4.0 or higher." After that another msg states, "Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi. chm) or MSDN for more information." I've been on multiple forums for several days. I am desperate for any help!!

do you have Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Office 2000? if so, reinstall them. if not, I dont know...

I had that Fatal Error - couldn't find a way except to reinstall Windows.
