3800x2 or 4200x2 ??

Okay, I saw what the price will be after the price cuts for AM2.

The 3800x2 is around 180 and the4200x2 is around 240.

Okay, I was set on the 4200x2, but is the extra 200mghz worth 70 more bucks? That is hard earned money btw

Just looking for opinions.

the 3800 is a way better deal..especially if its just a .2GHz difference...thats really not that much when it comes to AMD, especially when you can overclock that easily.

get the 3800+ X2. Its such a better deal. If you really are looking for something that is higher end, get a 4400+.

get the X2 4200+. can handle even more than the X2 3800+. The X2 4200+ does seem faster to me also when trying both of those cpus out on two different computers

X2 3800+ = Great
X2 4200+ = 100% Kickass!

The 4200+ is just a 3800+ with one more multiplier. Might as well just up the 3800+ to 220HTT from the stock 200 and bam, you got a better performing X2 4200+.

I have the 4200+ they are both good deals because of the pricecuts.... you can overclock the 3800,yes but u can also oc the 4200+ if ur on a tight budget get the 3800 if not get the 4200 its awesome

Well, he didnt tell us that. And 220HTT is nothing. Its like a 10% oc. Its not hard to do. Just change one number and you're set. Seriously, the $70 difference doesnt justify the performance difference.
