well today i decided to go through what major parts i need/want. and i made a list of 3. i'm going to be buying a new psu, ram, and video card.

RAM
Video Card

i noticed that the psu has and adaptable SATA plug so i can always update my hard drive later on to an SATA from the IDE i have now.

any suggestions on the new pieces?

psu @ 18A on the +12v rail looks a little weak to me (especially if you're thinking SLi later on)

ram has nice tight default timings

7600GT is a solid mid range card, I'm sure you'll be happy

That's cause it has two 12V, it's made for SLI.

I would take a different brand over Corsair, because those timings are pretty bad for 512MB sticks.

Also, you are getting 4x512MB sticks? That increases the command rate from 1T to 2T usually. It would be better to get 2x1GB sticks, or if you can't afford it, just spend the extra 100 dollars on a better graphics card.
