alright this is how you merge the two layers. on your layers pallette do you see a little arrow right above the Obacity bar? its an arrow pointing to the right. click that and a menu should pop up. look at the bottom of the menu and you should see "Flatten Image"

click that and all the layers will merge into one background. i'll post pictures in a minute

EDIT:

the pictures are big so just click on the links in order

Thanks man I appreciate it.

But is there anyway to just merge two layers. Like pick two and just merge those only thanks.

i'm not sure. i'm sure there is but when i need to merge certain layers and not the entire picture i bring the layers that i need into a new window.

make a new canvas and use to move tool and just drag the two layers that you need into that canvas. then merge them and drag the layer that was just merged back onto the other canvas that you want.

That's a roundabout way :p

But it makes sense lol

Quick question before I go to work.

How do you copy text? So you can make text blend in with a product or advertisement?

And then how to you blend them into your SS?

Thanks

I think someone did a champaigne bottle a while ago and he copied the text.

Thanks again

Do you mean how do you make it look like other texts, so it blends in..For exmaple, you make a halo sig, and you want the text to look like the halo text...I didnt really get what you were trying to say, but this place has a lot of text files..Then just go to control panel, and drop it into the fonts folder..

I just want to tell everyone it's an inside joke from another forum I visit.

So it's not really bad.

There's a badword in there...

But the sender "Tarbarcy" did not send those. The poster edited his PM inbox to make it look like she sent them. (Notice how the "W" is a little messed up in "Wut".)

I hope that's clear.

yeah i get what your trying to do. if you want the font of the picture yuo sent us to look like the real thing either compare it to other fonts or click "View" on your browsers toolbar then "Source" and look for <font=*font name*> in the html.

K, I think I'm starting to understand photoshop a bit more.

Anyways, I'm trying another tutorial.

In step 5 it says "click the custom blending options". And in the screenshot he has there it does say Blending options: Custom.

I can't seem to get to the custom blending options. It just continues to say "blending options: default"

Here's a pic.
