ok well i need to upgrade my computer...so i want to do new mobo/ram/vidoecard/cpu

ok so now i got this

FROM!
pent. 4 1.8ghz 400mhz fsb 128kb l2 cache
768mb (3x256) pc133
5200 128mb 64bit ddr
intel d845hv mobo!


TO!
amd 3000+ 1.8ghz 1000mhz fsb 512kb l2 cache $70
Foxconn 6100K8MA-RS Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX $55
eVGA 7300gs 256 mb (cant u unlock pipes or something to make go way faster?) $55
512mb (256x2) or just 512mb for around $50.

now im looking on ebay for all of this stuff (i know but i dont have much money to spend im 14!) and hopefully find cheaper stuff..alraedy found 256 sticks for around 5 bux each and cheaper cpu and vidoe card...no luck on mobo but new mobo is fine with me!

your new viddeo card you can overclock and that is why better than your other system and how much is your other system?

how much is my other system?

my old system cost around 400+ back in the day...i remember 180 for the processor...about 70 for the ram...50 or so for the vidoe card.....and the case powersupply everything my dad built every computer in this house but now jsut way out of date!...and i can get ram for around 20 dollars for 512mb on ebay...which takes down the cost...hopefully cheaper video card and cpu.....and cant find the mobo but oh well it will still work wayyyyyyyyyy better!

The AMD 3000+ will be nice, you might want to wait for the AMD price cuts in October or whenever they are. Then the 3000s are gonna be WICKED cheap even brand new. You have to make sure you get a socket 939 mobo to fit that.

Personally I'd go with 1GB of RAM; it really will make a noticeable difference.

well thank u man but listen....i will either start with a 512mb stick or something i find on ebay....but i like ur idea i nkow 1gb makes a big diff (friend has a gaming computer and has 1gb )..but i will def. go for 1gb later..just not off the start..and i will prolly spread out buying my stuff like mobo and ram pretty soon becuz im findign it really cheap...now video card i will try to find a good deal but 50 dollars new is CHEAP!...and the card should run bf2 fun....uh i may wait for the processor when the price cuts come thx for letting me know man...uh its alreayd new at 70 dollars so i should b expecting 30 bux? lol i wish!...mayb it will come tru!....uh well all i know is im finding good deals...and hopefully b in bf2 heaven with fps over 20!...over at my friends (gaming computer) i own of course he gets around 70 fps on med. so its much easier to play!....k ne other suggsetions*(%&!#()%&!#()

but yeh my dad will let me build a new comptuer jsut intel

so like pentium 4 or d thats rpetty good

512mb + ddr2-533 or better
