I was looking at the reviews and people are saying some bad stuff about it getting real hot, not acepting 800mhz ram... i still havent bought the ram yet. Could someone help me find some that would have no trouble with that mother board? im really only looking for 1gb now.. 2 512 sticks should be fine...thanks
You can get this

Motherborad:

And get some DDR2 Standard: DDR2 667

I already bought the motherboard..its on its way from newegg...do any of you know if all 800mhz ram will fail with this (before bios update)

I dont like this comment..

The chipset heatsink is overheating extremly which causes the computer to freeze or shut down, at first it gave me two hours now it's only 10 minutes. Tried adding fan, pointless (got 15 minutes)

I dont know whether he has overclocked, or modified anything in any way, but that's not a good thing, at all!

Well, im not sure but im sure it will work. If not than you need to get BIOS flashed, I thinkthe motherborad can run without ram but you cant install anything

Most DDR2 motherboards should accept DDR2-800, especially because AM2 supports it. Check MSI's webpage for that motherboard, or the online user manual and it should tell you.

if u want a stable motherboard then get an Asus or Abit. they are more expensive but can save you lots of trouble

ASUS motherboards are A LOT better now. So much better than the A8N series. :p Abit is starting to show some promise of good motherboards with their new Conroe ones, but ever since the nForce 2 based motherboards, everything else was crap.
