tv tuners

ok so once i pay off my college im going to buy a 21inch wide screen monitor and a tv tuner to replace my tc in my room..are the tv tuners able to take in a full satilite menue? i have charter digital cable and was wanting to run it through a tv tuner....any ideas?

i think it would work... just plug a cable from the output of your digital cable box to the cable input in the tv tuner. i think that would work

i use a Emuzed Angel Dual TV Tuner from dell.....it has a coxial, and 2 s-videos and 2 stereo in plugs... its works fine with media center 2005...i would also reccomed getting the media center remote. good luck!

do you really need a remote? or can i just use my normal satilite remote and change the channle through there like a normal tv would?

No. You need a reciever box to do that, which you can buy in some shops and on eBay.

Many TV tuners come with their own remote.
