hey, how would i go about the proper way of painting my skimboard?

i wasnt sure what type of paint to use? it kinda needs to be waterproof,
the board above isnt mine, mines really plain
 
acrylic enamel, it's water proof and very permanant. It's the same kind of paint that is used on cars. That board is hard fiber glass correct? If it's not and is soft then i don't know if acrylic enamel is the way to go.

Thats exactly what i immediately thought of. Use automotive paint and it will be as waterproof as you need it. I would suggest just taking it to an autobody repair shop and they will paint it for you the way it should be done. It shouldn't cost too much (but then that all depends on the paint color you choose).
