I finally fixed my PS/2 keyboard port! I had another plastic melt and this time, the thing went right in and stuck there with the holes. I have to be careful though as I may lose connection if I don't put it properly. OIh well, this USB o PS/2 will never leave the port anymore. The keyboard was assigned to it.

Another thing: That was a good 10 months without a PS/2 port. The port, ATM is not flat and perfect. It's bumpy, but the holes are still present. I am writing you with it now. I never felt that happy in my life!

lol, good for you lhuser. i hate it when ports get clogged/blocked because there so damn small you can never really work on it. i had a similar problem with the mouse port with the prongs being bent took me about 3 hours for me to bend them all back using a paperclip
