Ok I'm tired of my Dell and I need a cheap, upgradable PC that has a PCI X, 939 or AM2 or socket 775 and 4 DDR2 slots for around $500-$700. I dont care for 2 video card slots because I'm not going to go all out on it. And it needs to be prebuilt to top it off.

eMachines uses the cheapest components possible to make their pc's cheap as possible, while still maintaining the specs.

Gateway is in no way different then Dell.

And HP comes with too much 'bloat ware'. And tends to have horrible mothers boards. They act like an old laptop in a really big case.

Id never go with an eMachines or an HP. Gateway and Dell are tolerable.

I think that HP has gotten better but could be better. In my opinion, Dell is alright but not the greatest, I'll never get another dell. Gateway is great, my parents have one and haven't had a problem with it. I had an emachines and it was good for basic stuff but anything outside of that and the computer would have alot of problems. I did have a better experience with emachines than I've had with my dell though and the emachines was half the price too!
