Anyone know where I can get some cheap sound insulation material i.e. sponge or similar? It would be best if it where a UK site, but an American site that will ship to the UK would be okay also... thanks :D

EDIT: does this look any good?

Well, my computer is "home" insulated.

I bought a load of cheapy, thick, soft sponge type matierial, and cut out the necessary shapes for the inside of my case. I then put duct-tape all over the sponge, to hold it down, and it works like a charm.

How could it, ive had it in for a good 6 months, not evan marked.

There is no way it could set on fire.

Yeah i guess it wouldn't really.

Sound insulation is of course good, but if you have the right sort of case, its more the fan holes, etc that are going to be letting out the most noise, and I don't suggest you cover them up :p

I'd suggest putting some insulation under the hard drives etc though to stop them shaking the case, and maybe around fans to stop them rattling the case, etc. That'll stop noise slightly.
