AMD X2 with 1Mb Cache vs Faster CPU

Is there a large performance gain with the 4400X2 that has 1Mb Cache per core? Or is the performance on a 4600X2 that only has 512kb Cache per core better? I don't plan on overclocking so which is better stock? Bascially what I'm asking is, will the 1mb cache make such a big performance gain that it'll be better than a 4600X2?

well people say that every 512KB of Cache is adding 200mhz to your cpu speed. In real life it dont add speed but it does make the cpu alittle fast

i'm kind of scared i'm going to damage my parts too because i've never o/c'd before
