A really budget first build...need opinions!

just ordered the ASrock Motherboard. Looks pretty solid for the price. Also ordered a new dvdrw, black case 350w PSU and 1gb ddr2 533 memory. I think i will of made a good budget pc by the end of it. Conroe here we come!

sounds good and that conroe is most deffinately better then the amd X2 u were planning on getting earlier the only thing u should do now is get a better PSU

i will come round to it eventually. Have no idea how to fit one though so could be a stumbling block. Any recommendations on cheap psu's?

Cheap PSUs probably, the cheapest you want to go is Fortron.

It's better than the 6800 GS. The 6800 GS was originally designed to be a cheap replacement for the 6800 GT, while performing slightly better. The 7600 GT even beats out both the 6800 GS and the legendary 6800 GT.

Man...I miss those days. Back when nVIDIA was all business with the 6800 GT.

that kinda sucks because it wasn't that long ago that i baught the 6800GS for 200 bucks.... i coulda saved more and gotten a much better card....*tear*
