Video card@@@

im lookin for a good video card to play games like Bf2:Sf, quake 4 , dods, css,hl2,cod2 and stuff like that. my budget is under 200$CAD(Canadian DOllars)

also i was wondering if i shud get a 6800 or 7600 im a total dopehead at these high tech things and have no clue whats better im guessing 7600 cuz its higher model but sum1 let me no. btw im leaning towards that 512mb one.

i would personally go with the second one..EVGA are a bad make to go with and the second has more clock speed.

Both respectable cards, I wouldn't be too fussed either way. But would probably go for the XFX, simply because I've used them in the past.

Addition: You won't need the extra 256mb, not for a while anyway

The XFX one is faster and cheaper so I would go with that one. About the 256mb not needed, thats true. Also when 512mb video RAM is needed this card will be too slow to play the games anyways.

I plan (now that i've seen it) on buying that XFX. I have a 300W PSU and the XFX site lists that as the minimum PSU, will I have any trouble with the card?

i would upgrade ur PSU, i had the minium reqrement PSU and my card blew. i would get a 450 or something like i did my old system.

Why dont you wait until DX10 is out, you will be covered for the future then.

DX10 will probably need windows Vista.. and a very very fast PC
