Firefox Versus Opera

Which browser is more secure? Opera or Firefox?

I am also hearing that Internet Explorer is improving, how secure is Internet Explorer compared to these two?

I haven't even heard of Opera , but I use Firefox and love it! ( although I will have to check out Opera.)

I like firefox because it's simple. Opera seems to be more complex to me. I tried opera and it was ok but I like firefox much better. IE isn't that great in my opinion, i've tried IE7 and it's unstable. IE6 has to be the worst browser ever.... it's not safe and it's unstable.

I like Opera more than FireFox. Opera has more options, and more customizable IMO. I like widgets too, so Opera is for me. If you're looking for tabbed browsing with security, you may want to check out Netscape- very nice security suite built right into it. As for which one is more secure...... probably a toss-up. Most spyware/adware is designed to exploit IE, so you're realatively safe with either.

I use opera and love it its ok, the only thing is that it doesnt like imageshack.us lol so for that I have to use FF >_<

Well... what do you expect when you visit those kind of sites... You'd get a virus using any browser.
