4200 x2 or new conroe

Usually it's there. It depends on your PSU's ability to use that electricity efficiently.

The only way AMD can keep up is to slash prices and thats what makes Conroe look so expensive. But really, compared to other previous Intel processors, Conroe is cheap. Yup, basically two Conroe cores on one chip. It's not a "pure" quad-core where it's all four cores on one die, but rather two dual-core CPU's in one package. Very similar to what Intel did with the Presler.
