Automatic Network Switcher [Software]

Hello all,

I have a wireless network (with a router) set up that also has a wireless access point as a wireless bridge because the signal does not get to everwhere in my house. However I roam around with my laptop and was wondering if there is any software to automatically switch to the router or the access point bridge depending on which one has the strongest signal.

hmm did you try google?

maybe if you disabled prefered connections, and told it to connect to non-prefered AP's then it might do just that.

I think, you would just need to find a way in preferred connections. Just mess about with the settings. I dug this out, pretty useful.

But when the laptop is connected, it won't automatically switch networks unless one of them cuts out it will just keep connected. I am looking for software that will automatically change which wireless network I am connected to depending on the signal strength (not by preferred networks), I am sorry if you misunderstood me in my first post,
