Help...about AMD

Okay So I am looking to get a new computer and use it for gaming. People have been telling me to go with AMD, but I also hear that so programs don't work with AMD is that true? And is AMD aslo the better to go with gaming? and last question with AMD do other programs still work well?

Amd is better with gaming, I dont know about programs not working with it but i know its better for gaming and multi tasking and multimedia and stuff like that.

Skype has a contract with Intel making sure that Skype only works with Intel. Or at least a verison of it. Other then that I can't name any others. I'm AMD fan so go AMD
