Wide screen monitor

I'm about to buy an Viewsonic 1912 19 inch widescreen monitor for 200 bucks, but before I do that, is it a good investment? I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any new monitors that were coming out that I should wait to get for a better deal. Will I feel regretless for the next few years if I get this monitor now?

i just recently bought a 19 inch widescreen monitor made by acer and im loving it so far. everything about it is better than my old 17 inch crt peice of crap. and especially at 200 bucks that is a wise investment. at my local walmart, for that price, all you get is a 15 inch lcd that looks liek crap anyway. i would say go for it... im not regretting buying mine.

Go for man, thats a decent LCD price right there. They own CRTs BIG time.
