What you you rather have? I'm an AMD noob so I dont know whats better, I do know that 939 is ultra popular but arent they going to stop making new CPU's for it?

Am2. Its newest and there are no major flaws. Anything new is buggy. I dont think anything major though.

Besides, it uses DDR2 memory, and its the newest, so upgradeability in the future is much more likely (actually inevitable) then 939 that will slowly die. Although it will be around for a few more years.

Go with AM2, 939 is being phased out as we speak. By this decemeber AMD won't produce any sockets besides AM2 I believe.

AM2 is buggy, but not too terriablly buggy nothing that most of us would notice anyways.

Socket 939 is great for those on budgets, but if you really want to be set for the future, go with AM2.

Well whats the major difference between DDR and DDR2? And why's AM2 so much better? Seems 939 is cheaper and really good for gaming.
