Do you guys know how to make it so that I can type over just a certain section of the document, but now anywhere else? Say i have something like this:

Date: / /

So that it only types over the underlined parts and stays underlined?

ummm, could you just highlight the underlined section, turn on underlining, and type what you wanna type? im not really quite sure what you mean.

Are you saying that this is some sort of form you are filling out? You might be better off just writing it, then.

Here is a simple way (but not probably the right way :p)

1. Type up the document you want to have blanks in. Leave the parts that you want blank as blank

2. Use the PrtScr function of your keyboard, paste your clipboard into MS Paint, Crop it so that it is the correct size to fit back into the word document (6" x 9")

3. Paste it back into a new word document and then Insert-->Text Box. And change wrapping to "Edit Wrap Points". Then make as many of these text boxes you need to and place them on top of the 'picture' you made in each blank area.
