Need Help

I forgot to register a copy of Windows Media Center on my laptop and now I can't access my files. Someone suggested that I turn my laptops HardDrive into a slave for my PC, but how do I go about doing that? and will it even work?

And, as for doing that. You'd need to take the laptop apart to access the hard drive

lol I can't register it because I downloaded it. But yeah, I saw that you had to take the hard drive out and I've taken it out of my laptop before I just don't know how to hook it up to my PC as a slave drive.

no, but I'm not tryin to get one either, Just tryin to save my files =/...I don't even like Windows Media Center.

I don't think CF provides support for illegal software of any sort. For accessing your data, try booting up with a live CD of Knoppix or something (that is free -- legitimately) and searching around your hard drive. You don't need to transfer the drive.
