I have to admit that i love porn, so i went to a few sites and watched couple of clips there and suddenly my computer had pop ups and those yellow things on taskbar that appear and error messeges saying that i have a virus... so i got Norton Virus and scaned my computer after doing so it made my computer slow really really slow so then i downloaded Spyware doctor and scaned my computer with that and it got rid of the pop ups and all that nonsense but my computer is still running slow can any one tell me why is it acting slow even with out no viruses in it is there any way that i can make my computer fast like it used to be before i went to those sites.... :(

Try running disk cleanup and get all those nasty temporary internet files off your computer. Btw, thanks for your honesty, that actually helped to know!

i've tried the disk cleaner, yet my computer is still runing slow i have no idea what should i do now?

A hi-jack this log would help but I would also try a defrag if you haven't done one in a while.

there probably is still a virus in there. Try some online scans and then if u want to download AVG or Avira, both are great free anti-virus softwares. U might need to uninstall norton before u can install any other anti-virus software.

Also check the startup (start -> run -> msconfig -> startup) for anything u don't want in there. Use google if u don't know what something is. (might as well google all of them since most of the time u can't be 100% sure)

lol i just told the truth, its better than to make up stories like you friend was using ur computer or you accedently went to a porno website... lol take pride in your doings man:D so thats why i said what the heck lemme just say so you guys have the idea of how i got the virus and not let you guys get confused on how the virus came... i did check the Service in msconfig every thing looks normal there are couple of Unkown things that i unchecked it appears to be working fine now... i think it needs a memory upgrade
