i made this background. its my first but i just started learing from tutorials offline

is that from object dock? if so, how did you make the actual "dock" go away and only that one stayed?

you like just the tabs are shown, correct?

go to "edit dock" and then click on "postioning". then check the "show dock as drawer" and place it where ever then check the "mouseover activation" box.
