New Antivirus?

My McAfee antivirus protection expires in 5 days and I wanted to know if there are any good free antivirus out there, or what do you think is the best antivirus/firewall? I think McAfee has done a good job, but I just want to try a free one.

many antivirus programs will conflict with each other, but in my experince avg free and avast free antivirus work together seamlessly and provide a better virus defense then mcafee or norton ever did for me.

im using avg free edition and zone alarm firewall instead of mcafee cause mcafee is a resource hog lol but avg and zone alarm seem to work pretty well

Well, since someone made a whole new thread on this, I guess I'll ask too.

I got all the free one's down... Avira, AVG... so if there's a paid one that's worth the money, which should I get?

I'm wondering, for spyware, which is better: Webroot Spysweeper or SunServer Counterspy?

Trend Micro is probably one of the best paied onces, but id take Avira over it.

Never heard of Trend Micro... McAffee, Norton, BitComet Defender, and Nod32 are the only ones I know.
