No worries. This surge suppressor with 10 outlets has phone protection and coaxial protection. It cost about 25USD. So a pretty high-class surge supressor.

Plus I live in Florida, the lightning capitol of the world.

I am constantly preaching to other users to use surge protection, especially the one who had the shorted video card. I thought that was lightning damage, but it was just a short that happened with clear skies.

Nate, do you have one of those protecters.. Mine are like. You plug into the wall. there is 3 lights. First one tells you the connection is fine. THe other one tells you that it overloading the other shows that its not work becuase it overloaded and broke in the plugin.. I saved your stuff. i'll post a screen later..
